Location & Telehealth FAQ

Is the office accessible?

The Palomares Therapy office is located on the first floor with a ramped entrance. If you have any accessibility needs or would like to discuss accommodations before your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want your experience to feel as comfortable and easy as possible from the moment you arrive.

Is parking available?

Our office is located in an area with generally ample free street parking, including along Maylin Street, Ellis Lane, and portions of Orange Grove Boulevard. Please note that some areas near Orange Grove may have 2-hour parking restrictions during higher-traffic hours, typically between 4–6 PM.

Where should I attend telehealth sessions?

To support privacy, safety, and the effectiveness of therapy, clients are asked to attend telehealth sessions from a quiet, confidential space free from interruptions. Sessions cannot be conducted while driving, in public spaces, or in the presence of others unless discussed in advance. Clients are generally expected to remain visible on camera throughout the session unless alternative arrangements have been made. Please note that, due to licensure regulations, clients must be physically located in California at the time of their telehealth session.

Do you offer hybrid sessions?

Absolutely. Many of our clients prefer hybrid options, which create added flexibility.

Do I need any specific WiFi speeds or settings?

When possible, we recommend attending sessions using a secure, high-speed Wi-Fi or ethernet connection on a laptop or tablet, as a larger screen often allows for a more grounded and relational experience. That said, many clients do choose to attend sessions from their smartphones when needed. On our end, we conduct sessions on HIPAA-compliant Google Meets and use professional audio equipment to create a virtual space that feels engaging, attuned, and deeply connective.
